Deer Park / Silverton Joint Fire District

The fire district commenced operation on April 1, 1999 as a result of the merger of the Deer Park and Silverton fire departments.  Today, the fire depatment protects a primarily residential area of 2 square miles with a population of 12,000.  The two communities are located in the northeast side of Hamilton county about 9 miles from downtown Cincinnati.  The fire department operates with a combination of full-time and part-time personnel.

8/26/08 - A new 2008 Seagrave pumper truck arrives for E89.  The 1974 Seagrave assigned to E289 has been retired and the 1991 Seagrave is now designated 289.


5/15/07 - L89, a 1988 Seagrave acquired from Milford, OH is placed into service.  Q89 has been retired.
