Cincinnati Fire Department - Station 51

This station is located on the west side of Cincinnati in College Hill. It opened in November, 2009, replacing a much smaller single engine house. The larger station allowed Medic 51 to be established and for the storage of reserve apparatus. The station was constructed to U.S. Green Building Council LEED Silver standards and includes the use of natural light, low-flow plumbing, rain gardens, pervious pavement, rain water collection that fills the pumper truck, and vegetative and reflective roofing.

05/24 - Engine 51 received a new E-One pumper truck. The 2020 E-One previously assigned to Engine 51 is going to be reassigned to Engine 7.
06/20 - Engine 51 placed
into service a new E-One pumper truck.
05/18 - A new Ford / Horton ambulance has been received for Medic 51.
11/14 - Medic 51 placed into service a new Ford / Horton ambulance.
11/09 - Ambulance 51 (now Medic 51) is established as a new unit and goes into service.
11/09 - The new firehouse for Station 51 is dedicated and placed into service.
06/09 - Engine 51 replaced their 2003 E-One with a new pumper truck from Rosenbauer.
