Cincinnati Fire Department - Station 9
4379 Reading Road
Cincinnati, OH 45229
This station is located in Bond Hill. When built, it became the first new fire station in the city since Station 20 was built in 1982. The larger station allowed Squad 9 to be established as the second heavy rescue company in Cincinnati. The new company was organized in 2007 when Ladder 14 was disbanded. The station is built to the U.S. Green Building Council LEED standard and became the first public building in the city certified to this standard.
